Before we get to Jenna Jameson’s tearful description of what happened the morning her boyfriend Tito Ortiz was arrested for domestic violence, we must share this excerpt from her interview with Usmagazine: “I’m so in utter shock that this happened because we were America’s couple.” Jameson is a former porn star; Ortiz is a mixed martial arts fighter.

If they’re America’s couple, then Larry Flynt is president and Mike Tyson is his Secretary of Defense. And we’re moving to Canada. Anyway. Jameson tells Us that the couple had argued the night before about something “incredibly personal” (she doesn’t offer details other than to say it was “sexual”).

The following morning, Ortiz accused her of being high on pills. When she denied it and told him she would take a drug test, he told her their relationship was over. As he moved past her to leave the bathroom, he grabbed her arm and pushed her aside; she fell and hit her elbow on the bathtub.

“He is not a wife-beater,” says Jameson, who is not cooperating with police. “He is so loving and so, like, protective. That’s why when it happened I was so shocked. It’s just scary that it had to come to this violent conclusion . . . It’s just so hard to trust anybody in my life.” The couple has 13-month-old twin sons. Jameson says their safety is paramount, and if that means Ortiz could not longer be a part of her life, then so be it.
